The W & M Team expressed a desire to develop a holiday theme that would help us discern the “real” from the “artificial” in contemporary Christmas customs and celebrations to help worshipers receive and celebrate the gift of true joy. The sermons are planned with a focus on one or more of the lectionary readings for each Lord’s Day, December 1 through “Epiphany Sunday” January 5. Each week the sermon will address the work and witness of the Church’s preparation for the Birth & Return of the Christ.
