Welcome to Wayside! Ours is an intergenerational church with solid biblical preaching and teaching within the Reformed Christian tradition, a variety of mission outreach commitments and events, and more opportunities to connect for faith, friends and fellowship than you might expect for a midsized church. We offer two distinct worship experiences each Sunday morning, a traditional service with choir at 9:30 and a contemporary service with our Grace Notes band at 11:00. We are a full service church, offering programs and pastoral care for all ages on and off our beautiful eight acre campus. We hope you’ll check us out in person this weekend, or join us for our next community event!

Adult Ministry

Worship services are held each Sunday in a traditional setting and a more contemporary setting.  Both services include a children's sermon, pastoral message, time for prayer, and opportunities for musical worship.  We invite you and your family to attend both services to see which one brings the word of God to light for you.

Youth Ministry

From in-house programs to mission trips, our strong youth ministry provides numerous opportunities for middle-level and high school youth to learn and spread the word of God.  Take the time to join our discussion groups, attend a retreat, or help others through our mission events.

Children's Ministry

Helping our children learn the teachings of Christ is an important part of Wayside.  Each Sunday, there is a special time set aside within each service for a children's sermon in addition to their own program in our classrooms.  For those needing it, we also have a Nursery staffed with those of our congregation  who have provided clearances.  Bring your children to our many programs and experience Wayside at its best!

Mission Ministry

With a focus on helping others, our Mission Committee provides opportunities to our members to get involved.  Some programs are supported with other churches and organizations in the Wayside area and world wide.  Visit our calendar to see what opportunities youi can join!

Music Ministry

Whether you can play an instrument or not, read music or not, or have rhythm or not, there are a number of ways you can experience and become involved with music at Wayside!

Fellowship Ministry

Every Sunday, there is time set aside between services where members leaving our Traditional service and those attending the Contemporary service can meet and greet each other during a time of fellowship.  There are also a number of events designed to bring our families together in fellowship.  Visit our calendar to schedule to attend these events!

Framed around several of the Beatitudes in Matthew 5, the service will feature congregational singing, band specials, personal reflections and interactive moments to open the worshiper to the spiritual side of this pop music in the comfort of Wayside's sanctuary. A free will offering and silent art auction will benefit Wayside's youth 2018 summer mission trips to the New Wilmington Missionary Conference and work project in Puerto Rico.  Doors will open at 5:30pm.  See the program for the evening here.
